Tastes as good as sugarVery similar taste to sugar compared to my Stevia experience. Only difference I detect is an almost imperceptible cooling feel if you eat it straight. You can boil it with water for a sweet Syrup which might be useful for cooking as the crystals don't blend well with liquids otherwise in my short experience. Good if new to sugar alternatives. Perfect in coffee.

I wish the whole world was aware of itI am trying to lower my sugar levels as advised by my doctor. I love my tea and found it difficult to enjoy without sugar. All substitute sugars are awful with horrible after taste. Honey Golden Syrup and Maple Syrup are overpowering Now I can smile I ave Xylitol its great no after taste looks right and tastes right I am telling everyone about it. I wish the whole world was aware of it. Maybe less illness related to too much sugar would occur.

My favourite sugar substitute!I love this product, it's especially wonderful for cooking. I grind the Xylitol up and use it to make dairy-free sugar-free chocolate. You simply use equal parts cacao butter or coconut oil and ground xylitol. Melt in in a pan over low heat, pour into an ice cube tray and freeze. A few hours later, you have chocolate! The only disadvantage is that Xylitol doesn't behave like sugar, so if you need your baking or cooking to be smooth in texture, grinding it up beforehand is the way to go. Otherwise it will remain granular and make your cooking efforts pretty crunchy. I like to add the Sweetleaf Stevia Peppermint drops to my Xylitol-sweetened chocolate for guilt-free dark peppermint chocolate yumminess :-)
