Naturally Sweet Xylitol - Looks like sugar, tastes like sugar, only good for your health.
How can something that looks like sugar and tastes like sugar actually be good for you? Naturally Sweet Xylitol is made from a product originally derived from birch bark but is now usually obtained from corn. It modifies the saliva in your mouth so that eating meals, desserts and candies flavoured with Xylitol not only do not cause cavities but prevents cavities by promoting the remineralisation of tooth enamel. BUT AS IMPORTANTLY, every teaspoon of Naturally Sweet Xylitol also contains 40% fewer calories than sugar! It is also so slowly absorbed that it has almost no effect on blood sugar levels for people who have diabetes. So why would you not use it?
Naturally Sweet Xylitol is sourced from one of the world's major suppliers and actually meets pharmaceutical standards and is, like all of our products, certified as GMO free!
Our Xylitol has the following benefits:
- 100% natural sweetener - Tastes just like sugar - but better! - Has a VERY low GI of only 7 - Has no bitter aftertaste - Fights cavities and is recommended by Dentists - Freshens breath - Does not contain aspartame
I finally got hubby to try xylitol and he admits he can’t tell the difference and used it all the time
I bake make jams and sauces anything that needs sugar.
Is there any chance of getting a brown variety? (Posted on 19/06/2019)
Thanks for making xylitol easily available to Australians - I use it as a sweetener and I also make my own version of nasal spray to help with sinusitis. Great to be able to buy it online as I can't get it locally. (Posted on 5/04/2017)
I recently gave up sugar but am missing sweets so much! A friend told me about zylitol so thought I would try it. I really like this product and my craving for sweets has settled down, will be buying from you again. (Posted on 5/04/2017)
I am trying to lower my sugar levels as advised by my doctor. I love my tea and found it difficult to enjoy without sugar. All substitute sugars are awful with horrible after taste. Honey Golden Syrup and Maple Syrup are overpowering Now I can smile I ave Xylitol its great no after taste looks right and tastes right I am telling everyone about it. I wish the whole world was aware of it. Maybe less illness related to too much sugar would occur. (Posted on 5/04/2017)
