If you have to omit fruit from your diet for any reason, as the lovely Alicia of Feed That Blonde says, it doesn’t mean you can’t still make a mean green smoothie and she shows us how below!


  • 30g walnuts
  • 2-3 tsp unflavoured bone broth
  • 2 tsp greens powder
  • 1/2 cup puffed buckwheat or puffed brown rice (optional)
  • 1 serve (30g) bovine collagen
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Naturally Sweet monk Fruit Extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 6 large ice cubes

Blend it all up until smooth and enjoy. If there is anything gut healing protocol 2.0 has taught me, it is that we don’t need fruit in every single smoothie to have a good time!
