Low Carb Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

Quick and easy to make and healthy to boot. Use any of our sweeteners in this recipe to add a hint of sweetness. My favourite sweetener to use is the vanilla stevia drops, as vanilla and strawberries go so well together.

Make sure you are prepared to share everyone is going to a glass!

Note that if you use the Lan Guo in this recipe you need an absolute smidgen.

Low Carb Strawberry Smoothie

Servings: 2 serves

  • ¼ cup pure/heavy cream or Greek yogurt (or coconut cream/coconut yogurt for dairy free)
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk or nut milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon granulated stevia/erythritol blend or 10 drops of liquid vanilla or plain stevia drops
  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup ice
  • A couple of drops of vanilla extract optional but delicious
  • Place all ingredients into a blender. Blitz until smooth.
  • Pour into two tall glasses and serve.

Recipe Notes

Add protein powder of choice for a protein boost.
Add 1/4 cup low carb muesli for a complete breakfast smoothie.

Strawberry, Chocolate and Spinach Smoothie– Add 1 cup baby spinach leaves and 1.5-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Strawberry Chocolate Smoothie– Add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
Strawberry Avocado Smoothie– Add 1/4 large avocado
Strawberry Muesli Breakfast Smoothie- Add 1/4 cup low carb muesli and blitz really well for a great breakfast/meal option
