How do I calculate the cost of delivery?

The shopping cart will calculate the actual costs based on the final cart weight and provides you with courier options on price and timescales for the freight, based on your postcode.

Should you decide to modify your order, you may either add or remove items here and again select your postcode to provide you with a freight cost.

Prior to going to the shopping cart, you may also use our Shipping Calculator (on the left hand side of our shop pages), which will give you the current cheapest rates based on your weight and postcode.

Why do you only use certain couriers?

We have had many years experience with a variety of couriers.  The ones we have selected to use are, in our opinion, the best couriers available at the most reasonable prices.  Please note that we do not use Australia Post for deliveries.

How long will my order take to be delivered?

The time taken to deliver your order depends on your location and the courier you have selected.  The shipping options you select in the shopping cart will give you indicative delivery times but please remember that at certain times of the year (e.g. Christmas, Easter etc) these times may be extended.  They are also delivery times from the time that we ship your order. We generally ship within 24-48 business hours of receipt (except where a direct deposit or a PayPal echeque is involved) and you will receive a notification email when it has been shipped.

Why do I have to give you a place to leave if I am not home?

This is most important! We know that you want to receive your order as quickly as possible and there is nothing as frustrating as having a courier leave a card for you to contact them to get your order redelivered on another day when you are available.  We therefore ask that you provide us with a suitable location for it to be left, if you are not there to receive it.  The shopping cart will not process your order until you advise us where to leave it.  In courier terms, this is called an Authority to Leave.

Please note that only AAE can redirect your order to a Post Office box.

Why cant I pick up from your warehouse?

Xlear Australia are distributors and do not have a retail shopfront. We also commit to our wholesalers that we will not compete with them on pricing.  Therefore our website pricing already takes into account the cost of freight and we can only send it as freight inclusive price.

Workplace Health & Safety requirements also do not allow pick up from our warehouse.

Can I send to a Post Office Box?

Yes.  You must select AAE as the courier, as this is partly owned by Australia Post, and is the only courier able to deliver to a Post Office.  The maximum weight for delivery to a Post Office is 20Kgs.

How do I check the status of my order?

You may check the status of the progress of your order, prior to dispatch, by logging into your account on our website and looking at your "Order History". The status is updated once a day, at night. We will send you an email when your order has been dispatched.
